About Utilities The Wellington Utilities Department operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to provide a reliable supply of superior quality drinking water and dependable and environmentally safe waste water service to approximately 56,000 residents in the Wellington Utility service area. Continually Upgrading Quality Utilizing the most up-to-date technologies to provide high-quality drinking water and wastewater service for the needs of Wellington residents, the Department is constantly improving and upgrading facilities.
