Wellington Roundup gathers everything happening in Wellington, Florida and the Western Communities — Royal Palm Beach, Loxahatchee, The Acreage, Westlake, Greenacres, Lake Worth, and Belle Glade — into one place: a website you can ask questions, a weekly email, and a running calendar of events, meetings, and horse-country happenings.
Every answer and every card cites its source and shows when the information was gathered. When we don't have something confirmed, we say so instead of guessing.
Who runs this
Wellington Roundup is built and run by Lee Felican Jr., founder of Felican.AI and, in his day job, Director of Artificial Intelligence at Resolution Economics, where he builds AI systems for expert analysis in employment and labor litigation. This site grew out of the same instinct: point AI at a real, unglamorous local problem — "what's actually happening in Wellington this week" — and make it useful, sourced, and boring in all the right ways.
He's also the author of four books on practical AI (more below), all built on the same rule he applies here: "the facts, framing, and final say are human."

Independence disclosure
Wellington Roundup is an independent local service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Village of Wellington, Palm Beach County, Wellington International, the United States Polo Association, or any other government body, venue, publication, or organization we report on. We link to and summarize public information; official notices always live with the issuing agency, and in an emergency you should rely on official channels first.
On local political controversies — including land-use and equestrian preserve matters — we publish facts, dates, documents, and citations only. No endorsements, no sides.
How it works
A software pipeline reads public sources on a schedule — village agendas, parks & recreation catalogs, library calendars, weather alerts, venue schedules, local publications — and organizes them. Local organizations can also submit flyers and schedules directly; submissions are reviewed by a person before publishing and are always labeled with who provided them.
For local news publishers we link and summarize only — read the full story at the source, that's the point.
The team behind the tech
Felican.AI
The pipeline, the answer engine, and the newsletter that power this site are built by Felican.AI — AI solutions for private businesses. Felican.AI designs practical, privacy-first AI systems built around how a business actually works, from strategy through governance and ongoing maintenance. Its other work for real businesses includes:
- AI automation — the boring, expensive work (intake, follow-up, documents, reporting) automated and delivered as running systems, not slideware.
- AI agents — multi-agent systems that take actions, with tool use, guardrails, and confirmation steps built in.
- Business websites & AI receptionists — sites and dealership tools with a built-in AI assistant that answers, books, and follows up.
