Boil Water Instructions In the event there is a water main break or some other event in your area that temporarily causes a disruption in your drinking water service, you will be placed under a "Boil Water" condition until the drinking water is declared safe for consumption- typically 48 hours. During this period, you are advised to boil tap water before consuming. The following procedures must be observed while a “BOIL WATER NOTICE” is in effect.
