Business Tax Receipts (Licenses) Attention Wellington Business Owners: Business Tax Receipt Renewals will be available online starting July 1st. Once the online renewal has been submitted staff will review any documents uploaded then invoice the renewal fees. Customers will receive an email with their invoice information. For your convenience, we have provided information and checklists for the different business types (commercial locations, home based businesses, and rental properties) to ensure you are informed on what is needed to register your business. Any person who maintains a permanent business location or branch office within Wellington or engages in or manages any business in Wellington must complete and submit an application to obtain a BTR.
