Drinking Water Fluoridation Public Notification: Fluoride has been Discontinued from Wellington’s Drinking Water Supply in Compliance with New State Law On July 1, 2025, a new state law, Senate Bill 700, also known as the Florida Farm Bill, goes into effect, prohibiting the use of certain additives in public drinking water systems, including fluoride. In accordance with this legislation, the Village of Wellington will be discontinuing the addition of fluoride to its public water supply. Residents with questions or concerns may contact the Village of Wellington’s Utility Department at 561-791-4010.
