Home Departments Engineering Engineering Mission Statement The Engineering Department, in collaboration with the other departments, manages the expenditures of the capital improvement funds, is the Village's liaison with the State and county regarding emergency management activities, and ensures new development is planned, designed, constructed, and documented appropriately. The GIS Division provides for the continued development and maintenance of the Village GIS (Geographic Information System) to include data collection, map creation, disaster and recovery planning, and in-house training on database and software usage. The GIS Department also makes data accessible to all Village departments as well as the public.
