Facilities Water Treatment Facility Wellington's Water Treatment Plant (W TP ) uses both conventional Lime Softening and Reverse Osmosis ( RO ) treatment processor, with a total treatment capacity of 11 million gallons per day, to produce drinking water. Source water for the treatment process is groundwater. Water Reclamation Facility Wellington uses a state-of-the-art tertiary wastewater treatment process to treat wastewater to reclaimed water quality standards and to produce class AA biosolids, a readily usable fertilizer.
