Yes, all properties within Wellington should have landscaping (trees/palms, shrubs, groundcover, sod/grass, etc.) to meet the requirements. Properties should have canopy shade tree species with palms and accents/ornamentals allowed, and minimum planting requirements per the lot size and in the front. Shrubs should be planted in the front plane/street view of homes and around buildings along the foundation areas (recommend keeping the planting about 1-2 ft. from walls and/or centered within the planting area). Landscape Regulations If my neighbor's hedges or trees are hanging over my property line, am I allowed to trim them? Yes, if trash bins are visible from the street, they must be screened from view. Hedges are required along all roads and any portion of the fence that faces a road.
