Municipal Election Information Next Municipal Election The March 31, 2020 General Municipal Election has been CANCELED. Jeffrey Keller, candidate for Seat # 3 has withdrawn. The City of Westlake will hold a General Municipal Election on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 (independent of the Presidential Preference Primary Election on March 17, 2020), and a Run-off Election, if necessary, on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, for the purpose of electing City Council Seat 3 for a term of four years. Qualifying ended at noon on March 6, 2020. City elections are by seat, at-large, and non-partisan (no districts, no party affiliation).
