Municipal Election Information Next Municipal Election The City of Westlake will hold its next General Municipal Election on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 (same date as the 2024 Presidential Preference Primary Election- PPPE) for the purpose of electing two City Council Seats for a 4-year term, expiring March 2028: Seat/Group # 1 Seat/Group # 3 Municipal Candidate Qualifying Candidate Eligibility Each Candidate for the Office of City Council must be a registered voter in the State of Florida and a resident of the City. At the time of qualification, each candidate for mayor or a council seat must have resided within the boundaries of the City for one (1) year before qualifying and must maintain residency throughout the term of office.…
