Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Battalion 2 Amanda Vomero, District Chief District Chief Vomero is assigned as District 28 to lead the 2nd Battalion which has 9 fire stations that provide service to the Village of Wellington, Village of Royal Palm Beach, City of Westlake, Loxahatchee Groves, and Indian Trails Improvement District. Chief Vomero’s husband Frank, is a Fire Captain with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR). Over 20 years ago, they chose Wellington to be their home to raise their 3 wonderful children. Each station has six firefighters assigned to it 24 hours a day.
