Private Utility Companies PERMIT REQUIREMENTS A Private Utility permit is applicable for all franchise utility providers of telecommunications, electric power and utility work (AT&T, COMCAST, FPL, FPU, etc.) proposing to do work within the Village of Wellington's right-of-way. Required Documents: - Engineering Permit Application - Utility Permit Conditions form - Notification Letters - Construction Plans - Contractor's Certificate of Insurance (COI) listing Wellington as additional insured - Construction Bond (if required) Permit expiration: 6 months Apply for a Private Utilit y permit using our Citizen Self Service (CSS) portal.
