Wellington Green & State Road 7 Beginning in 2017, the assessed taxable value of the Mall at Wellington Green, as determined by the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser, steadily declined each year until stabilizing in 2024. The valuation decreased from $245 million to $74 million in 2024, raising concerns about the Mall's future. In response to this trend, Wellington took a proactive approach in 2019 by enlisting the expertise of the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council. The goal is to position Wellington to be able to effectively and timely respond to proposals that support the long-term viability and sustainability of the Mall and the State Road 7 corridor.
