Wellington Utility Statement on EWG Water Quality Report The Village of Wellington is committed to providing customers with the highest quality drinking water and we constantly monitor for contaminants throughout the treatment process and in the distribution system according to Federal, state, and local laws. Federal water regulations are assessed and managed using the rigorous scientific framework of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). The Safe Drinking Water Act requires that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) considers a detailed risk and cost assessment and best available peer-reviewed science when developing drinking water standards.
