Noticed the sky getting moody when I left work, and now Turnpike South near Southern has a minor fender-bender blocking the right lane. Heat index still brutal—if you get stuck, hope your AC holds.

Turnpike southbound near PGA has emergency vehicles on the shoulder. If you're heading that way, expect some rubbernecking delays. This heat isn't helping anyone’s patience.
The light at the Berean Baptist entrance is still playing favorites for people coming out of the church lot. Forest Hill gets stuck every time. Watched three cycles yesterday before we moved.
Not weather, but if you're headed toward Southern on I-95 today, check the radar for rain. Three right lanes blocked southbound. Can't imagine that and a storm mix well.
Southern eastbound at Sansburys has a left lane down for a crash. It’s major, so take Forest Hill unless you’ve got time to sit and contemplate every bad choice you've ever made at 10 mph.
Forest Hill westbound at 7:30 this morning: the light at Wellington Trace is still mistimed. Backed up to Starbucks again, and nothing moves unless someone jumps the left.
Florida’s Turnpike southbound before Mile Marker 76: two right lanes blocked for construction. This mess starts before rush hour and bleeds onto Lake Worth. Forest Hill’s lights barely work with normal traffic, so good luck today.
The afternoon storms are getting lazy—just heat today and a grayish buildup over 441, but didn’t break. I’d complain, but it made getting through the Forest Hill lights marginally less unbearable.
Forest Hill was a parking lot from Village Hall to 441 this morning, thanks to an endless left-turn backup at South Shore. Every time I forget and take this route, I regret it.
Humidity’s still brutal, but I swear it felt cooler walking out this morning. Maybe we’ll see a front before Halloween if we’re lucky. Watch your timing on Forest Hill—afternoon storms have been a mess near Lyons.
