Is anyone going to the green market this Saturday? It’s at Commons Park again, and I hear there will be a good deal of local produce and baked goods. I might stop by early; it’s still rather warm by mid-morning.

For anyone planning to watch January’s Grand Prix events from the berm: now’s a good time to walk the grounds and map the best angles. The southern side has rather better shade, though one does give up some view.
I stopped by the polo grounds this morning; they’re starting to spruce up for the season. The fields look in fine condition already. It’s rather quiet now, but one can feel the preparation underway.

If you are heading south this weekend, avoid Jog Road near Woolbright; there’s a closure for a PBSO investigation. It’s a good time to explore closer to home; the green market or a stroll in one of our parks might be better options.
If you’re heading to the showgrounds from the east this week, do mind the construction at Vista Parkway on Okeechobee; the left lane’s out and it’s quite the bottleneck. Might be worth detouring through Southern.
Is anyone going to the interfaith gathering addressing housing affordability? It’s part of a larger discussion on the crisis in Palm Beach County. These talks are vital; sometimes just showing up is a way to help.
Anyone going to the Wellington Amphitheater this weekend? They have movie and music nights listed. It’s a lovely spot, and I must say it feels good to support local events. Bring a friend and a chair if you can.
Went to the green market yesterday morning; it’s nice to see it back in action. A good deal of fresh produce and baked goods, though the heat made me glad I brought a hat. Do go early if you’re heading over next weekend—parking fills up fast.
