went for a walk on the path by seminole trails elementary between classes and it’s still crazy humid so i was drenched in 5 minutes (wanted a cool front but no luck) and there was a heron just standing there watching me. that’s it.

For anyone deciding where to eat: Congestion: I-95 Southbound, from Exit 45: SR-808/Glades Rd to Exit 44: CR-798/Palmetto Park Rd. who's in
stopped by the new curaleaf in wellington over the weekend just to check it out and it’s super nice inside and the staff was really friendly and helpful (plus it’s always freezing in there which felt amazing after being in the heat all day). worth a look!
went for a run on the greenway after class and made it about two miles before the heat said nope (even though i swear it felt cooler than last week) and now i have blisters because i wore my work shoes by accident. rookie move.
stopped by the bakery on okeechobee on my way around the construction on bee line (the chocolate croissant there fixes everything) which took forever but also gave me time to consider if i should just hibernate 😵💫.
was craving a chocolate shake late last night so tried to hit that diner near Glades but the turnpike exit was shut (and so was my patience), ended up with gas station peanut butter cups instead which are fine but not a shake, not even close. 😒
out at 6:15 around the edge of village park and the humidity felt like soup and my left shoe kept squeaking (so annoying) but got three miles in before work and so sweaty I just stood outside my car for five minutes after. calling it a win!!
so my coworker told me the pumpkin patch at Bedner’s on 441 is really cute and she got great photos with her kids there and of course I’ve got no kids but I do have a phone and a weirdly orange skirt I never wear, so I’m going Saturday! 🎃
went for a walk on the trail by equestrian trails elementary around 6:30 with my roommate (who was fast asleep until i dragged her up) and omg it was still so muggy but the sky was this perfect orangey pink and totally worth the sweat. might do it again?
went for a run on the equestrian trail behind southern and it was hot even at 7am so i gave up halfway and walked back listening to taylor swift (eras tour vibes) which was honestly better for my mood than running. call it active recovery!!
