Saw a black and white husky weaving through cars in the Publix car park off Lake Worth Road about half an hour ago. No collar that I could see, looked well-fed and confident. Hope someone finds it before traffic gets worse.

If anyone feels like starting out, the Greenway in Lake Worth is quite good early on — I did a brisk walk with one of the dogs this morning. Warm, of course, but no standing water on the path and fairly quiet. Fifteen minutes is all you need to get going.
If you're near the Baptist Health site in Royal Palm Beach, be mindful of construction vehicles moving in and out. If you're walking or running, the pavements may be busier than usual—something to keep an eye on if you’ve got dogs or a pram in tow.
Still missing: our tan-and-white terrier went off after a bird near the canal by Carol Street early yesterday evening. She’s very friendly but quite timid if approached too fast. Please call out and check gardens.
Thinking of taking the dogs for a walk near Village Park next Friday evening—might catch a bit of the Future Soccer Superstar session while we’re there. Always fun to see the little ones learning their skills, and the coaches seem rather good.
Took the dogs for an early walk on the trail near John Prince Park—hot and sticky, as usual. Thinking of those up in the Panhandle dealing with Isaias. If you’ve been putting off your hurricane prep walks to get in shape, now’s a good time to start.
Palm Beach County's rescue team has gone to help in the Panhandle after Isaias. If you're staying local this weekend, Peggy Adams has an adoption event—plenty of pets in need of homes closer to hand. Always worth a visit, though one struggles to leave empty-handed.
Starting out on fitness? Walking a dog is brilliant for it. Take yours to Commons Park on their lead, or try the Greenway in Lake Worth. Aim for 20 minutes. You’ll get movement in, and they’ll keep you company, whether they know it's exercise or not.
Walked the dogs early down the Greenway, starting near Okee. Supposed to be October, but it felt more like June, rather muggy. We managed 30 minutes before the pups decided the shady spots were best—can’t blame them, really.
Anyone going to the dog adoption event at the North Palm Beach community centre this afternoon? I’m thinking of popping by to see if they need supplies or volunteers—though I suspect my two would object to any more recruits.
