I was heading home in my flip-flops when I spotted a small brown dog (looked like a terrier mix) near Royal Palm Beach High, and it was darting around like crazy, which made me think of Demetrice Rolle’s moves on the field!! 🏈🐾 Did anyone else see it?

Walking back from breakfast at Greenacres Bowl, I spotted a black and tan dachshund bolting across the sidewalk near the big park and tried coaxing him with a granola bar (which my cousin says is not effective, just fyi) but he kept east. Hope someone catches him!
Was running on the path near the canal behind the park this morning which was great except for the heat (still waiting on that cool front!!) and then I heard some sirens over by I-95 near Congress, so heads up if you’re trying to drive out that way. Stay hydrated!!
Took the pups out early to walk the Greenway by Pinehurst, and it was already muggy (hello, Florida!) but at least the path is clear and didn’t have too many bikers yet, which is rare, so we were able to jog a bit. Mine are wiped out now—success!! 🐾
So if anyone was planning to head over by Jog and Lake this weekend for anything, just a heads up that area was all over the news today because of some crazy standoff situation, which my sister called about while I was walking my dog. Wild, right?
The loop behind Greenacres Freedom Park is completely underwater after last night's rain, so I took my jog to the sidewalk along Pinehurst instead, which felt safer but less fun (wet leaves everywhere, not my best shoes). Hope it dries out soon!! 🌧️
I heard there’s a pumpkin patch at Trinity Lutheran School this weekend and they’re supposed to have a bunch of cute photo setups and maybe some baked goods too, which sounds like a perfect way to pretend fall is real here and maybe wear my flannel! 🎃🍂
Saw a small black-and-white dog with a green harness wandering near Meadow Park Elementary this morning while I was dropping off my nephew and trying to figure out my coffee order (he wanted hot chocolate, of course) — he seemed okay but skittish. Someone missing him?
Jog Road was quiet when I took Kobe out early and we walked to the edge of Forest Park Elementary (he’d have dragged me farther if I let him), and the grass is soaked from the last storms so wear good shoes and maybe just skip it.
FOUND — a black and tan dachshund mix (I think?), no collar but super friendly and followed me all the way to the East Lake School tennis courts while I was walking my dog and trying to call her parents. She’s safe with me for now! ❤️
