This weekend, anyone walking dogs near Lake Worth Road, keep an eye out for anything unusual. Palm Springs police are looking for a potential witness to a hit-and-run in that area. Worth staying alert.
Walked the Greenway this morning, starting near the edge of Greenacres. Trail felt safe but stayed extra aware after hearing about that shooting nearby. If you’re out there, keep your eyes up.
Went out early with Luna for a quick jog around the paved loop at Anchorage Park. Warm, humid, and she wanted to stop and sniff everything. Not ideal for pace, but a good start to both our days.
No events on I-95 South, but a minor crash near the Donald Ross Rd exit northbound has left the off-ramp's left lane blocked. Worth avoiding for weekend plans heading out of town.
Ran the outer loop at Spillway Park this morning, 4.2 miles. Dry ground except for one muddy patch under the trees near the south gate. Warm and humid, but good breeze off the canal.

SIGHTING — Saw a brindle pit mix loose near Pierson Road by the polo fields about 30 minutes ago. No collar I could see. Heading north along the fence line.
