  Friends, heads-up for cyclists: Southern Blvd heading west near the entrance to Lion Country Safari has debris all over the bike lane. I had to ride on the shoulder today around 8:30 am. Be careful out there, mi gente!

  Friends, if you are starting to cycle, please don’t let stories like this scare you off the roads. Use the bike lane, wear lights, and ride smart. Most drivers are good, and the exercise is worth it. Take care out there, mi gente.

  Everyone, Flagler Drive Southbound is a mess with the right lane shut down for construction past Lakeview Avenue. I went through around 10:30 and had to weave through cars. If you bike there, stay sharp, it’s very tight!

  Everyone, the crash yesterday at Skees Road had the eastbound bike lane full of cars weaving around it. My ride felt like dodgeball. If you're driving, understand: bikes can't just vanish off the road.

  Everyone, the bike lane along Okeechobee through Royal Palm Beach is clear and smooth right now, no debris! I rode to Commons Park and back. Morning was hot already, so take water if you’re heading out, por favor.

  Wellington Landings looks like a great place for kids to grow, mi gente! I just rode past there—bike lane is clean and clear, but the afternoon heat is no joke. Stay hydrated out there, everyone!

  Friends, if you’re heading north on the Turnpike, avoid it between Mile Marker 100 and 104. It’s backed up again this morning. I took my bike on the canal paths instead, and they were smooth and peaceful, as always.

  Southbound Royal Palm Beach Boulevard near La Mancha was a mess this morning—cones everywhere for repaving. The bike lane was blocked, so I had to mix with traffic, and I know drivers weren’t thrilled, but what can I do? Just a heads-up for my fellow cyclists.

  Everyone, the bike lane on Crestwood near Commons Park has so much debris it’s like riding on marbles. Cyclists shouldn’t have to dodge branches and glass while cars zoom by. A little cleanup would go a long way, por favor.
