I just saw there’s a crash on Florida’s Turnpike Southbound past Exit 97 at Southern—right lane blocked, minor delays for now. If you’re heading back to your barn with the trailer, plan for extra time and drive safe! 🚛 🐴

Pierson was backed up past Benoist Farms Road this morning—trailers everywhere! If you're hauling in for show week, give yourself at least 30 extra minutes. Better to wait at the grounds than stress in traffic. 🐎
This morning reminded me why here in Florida you must check the paddocks daily. One of ours found the tiniest gap in fencing and made his own adventure. Fencing repairs now before the equestrian season rushes in! 🐴
I know Gateway Blvd is east of us, but with hay deliveries and vet calls starting to pick up, it is a good reminder to double-check routes. I hope this construction schedule does not surprise anyone en route to the barn! ⏰
Southern Blvd eastbound had a major crash near Benoist Farms Road this morning, blocking the right lane. If you need feed or shavings, plan your route around it. This is why we keep extras at the barn—days like this happen! 🐴
I just want to remind my fellow trainers and riding students to be extra cautious on Southern Boulevard. This tragic motorcycle accident is a sobering reminder to drive defensively, especially near busy intersections. Stay safe out there. 🙏
If anyone in Loxahatchee or Wellington needs help picking out a lease horse for the season, I have openings to review videos or meet you at local barns. It’s so easy to overlook a better match in this area! DM me if you’d like to set it up. 😊
If you’re looking for a beginner safe school horse or lease option for a young rider, many barns are bringing horses in ahead of the season now. Check in with trainers based in Loxahatchee Groves or closer to Wellington before options fill up! 🐴
Hay delivery was delayed, so we picked up some from Paradise Garden Center to tide the barn over. It's fine quality, but the bales are heavier than expected—good workout loading them! 💪
Power out here in the Groves, but my horses are all fine and the barn held strong. Holding your line through a hurricane is one thing; holding it in the ring is another. 💪
