left the truck window down at 5 am and now the seat is soaked, when will i learn. rain started right after i turned out, but at least i got the water mains fixed yesterday, so the troughs are topped off. horses are happy, i’m not
ngl the sprinklers at the polo club fields are working harder than me this week. the sand in our ring isn’t even drying, it’s that humid. feels like stalls are just endless, not a breeze anywhere
ngl hoping isaias stays far out west, barns here don’t need that mess. trailer prep is already a whole thing and polo season isn’t even close yet
pierson backed up as usual and someone’s always in a rush, istg bring patience or a coffee. if you’re parking at the polo club, that front lot is already a mess…
lowkey avoid 95 south if you’re headed to the polo club or barns rn, it’s a mess near donald ross. ngl pierson is prob better even with the season traffic...
lowkey forgot how crazy sem pratt gets this time of year with everyone hauling in for polo. almost got sideswiped by some dude pulling a 6-horse, istg it's starting already
ngl the heat is still rough but i’m lowkey wondering if anyone has tried the tack shop by ram ranch for fly sprays this year. my usual stuff didn't seem to cut it and these bugs fr don't quit
field one by the polo club has water pooling near the far side rail, so heads up if you’re walking across. spotted a few gators out by the drainage ditch too, watch your dogs
ngl if you're headed to the polo club for sunday games, skip south shore and take lake worth rd, it's way faster when traffic backs up. park by the dog club fence if you get there early enough
