So HCA Palms West just unveiled this fancy new mammography tech, and while I have no personal use for it (my snack reviews aren't that advanced), my sister says it's great to see more options close to home. Anyway, more food things this weekend? 🍜

Looking for a solid spot for empanadas that aren’t just doughy pockets with no love inside because the last ones I grabbed from a place near Cholee Lake Elementary were all crust and crumbs and I need some flavor this time!!
Is anyone going to the food trucks at Greenacres Community Park this weekend because I drove past last month in my sweats (not planning to stop) and the grilled cheese one smelled so good I regretted my bad decisions for a week?
The festival at Lake Worth is on this weekend and they’ll have food trucks and live music and some local stalls (I caught one selling homemade empanadas last year which were incredible), plus it's dog-friendly if yours can handle the crowd!
Paid for the premium smoothie at the shop by Clothesline Laundry on Lake Worth Road and it tasted like melted sorbet with a sprinkle of refrigerator frost (I was wearing my flamingo shirt for the vibes); totally not worth it. Meh!
So I drove to Wellington for a bite and saw the sign about the advisory meeting tomorrow being cancelled (which my sister says happens all the time) and honestly, if you need a good snack instead, Village Bakery’s empanadas are always worth it! 🥟
Stopped by the taco truck that parks near the plaza in Loxahatchee Groves, got al pastor tacos, and oh man the pineapple was hitting just right with the crispy bits of pork (ate them in my car with the AC blasting), highly recommend!!!
Got the iced Thai tea with boba from Moonlit Tea Bar off Okeechobee and it was so good I finished it in the car (which I’m not proud of because now I have no drink for later) and the boba was the perfect chewy, not mushy. Worth it!
Looking for a spot around here that does legit boba (not the powdery stuff), and I've already been to Artistic Tea Lounge in Royal Palm which was solid, but I'm hoping for something closer to Greenacres. Where's your go-to?
Stopped by the green market this morning (snacking is a sport, okay?) and found a stand selling mango boba and fresh empanadas which I obviously had to try both and wow, the boba was amazing but the empanada was life-changing. Go while there’s still parking!!
