Barn-to-barn all day. Ask about the heat.

The October heat is still strong, and I am drenched working barn to barn today. AT Pike Road in the morning, turnout looked good—plenty of shade and fresh water, but every horse was sweating early. 🐴
FOUND — a golden retriever with no tag wandering near the new dispensary this morning. He is safe at one of the barns now. Tell me something about him only his owner would know. 🐾
Got stuck behind construction heading south on Flagler this morning—keep it in mind if you're hauling that way. The heat is coming back strong, so I’m making extra water checks a priority at every barn. Stay cool out there! 🐴☀️
A fluffy brown cat has been reunited with its owner today, thanks to someone at the Animal Medical Clinic at Wellington who spotted her microchip! She was found near Forest Hill Blvd. and is safe now. 😺
IS October too early to think blankets? Yes—but we still had someone at Ashland I ask me this morning. Heat's heavy, trees are breathless, fans doing all the real work for now. 😊
FOUND — a small brown terrier with no collar wandering near the tennis center today around noon. He is safe in my truck and has been given water. Please message if you are missing him. 🐾
Today was a scorcher, and the sun was fierce over the barns. Is anyone noticing more hoof chips than usual with this heat? I see it sometimes with the sandier turnout in places like Loxahatchee. 🐴
Do you all notice how the heat feels more humid this week? I am driving barn to barn and my shirt is soaked before 10 a.m. Is there a place with fans for horseshoes in Regency Business Plaza? Maybe this is the moment to work indoors. 🐎
Turnout started before sunrise at a barn near Trinity Lutheran because the heat is still intense by late morning. Horses drink a lake in this weather, so water-checks have to be constant. 🌞
